About Estudio Camino

We met on the Camino de Santiago, and that has become our motivation for this blog. We wanted to share our "Estudio Camino," our study of the path. We wanted to share what we found out while walking, and what we learned both before and after. All paths are different, yet all paths are similar, and sharing what you encounter on yours can help others travel more easily on theirs.

We had all come to Spain for different reason and from different parts of the world. One of us came for her faith, while another one came despite of it. The third came just because she likes walking and thinks the faith part doesn't really need that much discussion. We haven't found a joint position for why the Camino is a great decision, but we could all agree that it was. We count that as a win.

This turned out to be a bit of a recurring theme with us: we shared preferences and values, despite diverging backgrounds and world views, and we found beauty in that. The yellow arrows on the Camino keep you from getting lost, so your mind is free to wander, and wander it did, for all of us. After finishing the journey, we felt that we wanted to continue sharing our thoughts with each other. And then, why not just share it with the rest of the world as well? This is what this blog is about.
